It’s the AI service Remusic.ai, which doesn’t just remove the vocals; it literally breaks down the song into instruments and even generates subtitles! It’s a paid service, but you can try it out without adding any credit card information!
I tested it on classical music, and I’m sharing my impressions on how this vocal remover performs.
How do I remove the vocals from a recording?
The name of this AI is Remusic.ai. Download the song you want to remove the vocals from and leave only the music.

The AI only removes voices from the following formats: .mp3; .waw; .flac.
For my test, I decided to use Frank Sinatra’s “Jingle Bells” in .mp3 format.

Once the file has loaded, simply click the Generate button. It’s very large, so you can’t miss it. I pressed it and timed how long it takes to remove the vocals from the recording.

About a minute (or more) passed, and the recording finally cleared. The description said 30 seconds. Several options appeared:
- Make Karaoke;
- Vocals;
- Other.
Make Karaoke
When I clicked Make Karaoke, a screen with subtitles appeared! This is an instrumental track.

I didn’t think there would be any here; it was truly karaoke. The AI not only removed the vocals but also generated lyrics, turning the track into a full-fledged karaoke track! You can download the file even with the free version.
So if you and your friends enjoy singing, you can make one large track with songs or record each file separately. And sing along.

Alternatively, you can share a link to the song. Here’s the link the AI generated 👈🏼; you can test it out.
Vocals
Then I returned to the options page and downloaded the first track, Vocals. It turned out to be a track with a recorded song, but without the music. Clean vocals are useful for remixes or covers.
I suspect the service might be useful if you’re a student recording a lecture, as it removes noise from the recording. But I’m not sure. Since I don’t have such a recording, I can’t verify.
Other
I downloaded the latest track, “Other.” Incidentally, for some reason, it and “Vocal” can’t be processed for online listening.
At the beginning, where the bells start, the vocals weren’t completely removed, and some of the endings of the words are still audible. But once that part ended, the sound became clear. This is because “Other” is the remaining noise/instruments that aren’t vocals or the main musical accompaniment.
Besides removing words, the AI can generate songs and music of various styles.

The free version is enough for fun, as it offers:
- AI lyrics generator: 1 lyric / free;
- AI music generator: 1 song / 10 credits;
- AI vocal remover: 1 song / 10 credits (but they didn’t specify the song length; perhaps if you record multiple songs, it will count as one track);
- AI music video generator: 1 song / 10 credits;
- AI song cover generator: 1 song / 10 credits.
My impressions
It’s not 100% perfect, but it’s good enough. The interface is very user-friendly, everything is very easy and clear; even a grandmother could figure it out. Free use immediately demonstrates how the AI works. Karaoke lovers will be delighted! If you own a karaoke bar, the most expensive one-month subscription is enough to add new songs to your library.
I give it an 8 out of 10 for ease of use and quality.
