How to Generate Vector Images with Recraft AI: A Full Guide for POD
Stop Using Canva: This AI Generates Infinite SVG Vector Images for Free
Master the art of creating scalable SVG graphics without a professional designer using the power of Recraft AI
If you’re not a designer, but you have a print-on-demand store, then you most likely use a service like Canva or AI. But often in AI, there is no way to get a picture in SVG format, which complicates the task because you need to use other services that will change the format. And often, when using such services, the quality of the original image deteriorates. High-quality vector graphics are essential for professional printing, and finding a tool that does it natively is a breakthrough for small business owners.
I found an AI that not only does the design but also allows you to download the image in SVG vector format! First, I tested it. The name of this AI is Recraft.
First, you need to register for the service through one of the methods, among which the most popular is using Google Mail.
This AI is called Recraft. Maybe some of you have heard of it. Recraft has paid and free plans. Understanding the licensing terms is crucial if you plan to sell your designs online.

The free plan does not qualify for commercial use. You just train yourself and train their AI. You can read this in the terms of use.
If you purchased the paid plan for $25 per month, or $20 (if you purchased the annual plan), then you can use the images in your business.
This is a standard practice for generative AI tools focused on professional creators.
How to make vector images?

Using a consistent brand style is key to standing out in a crowded market.
First, we need to explain to AI what we want to see in the picture. Write a prompt here.

AI will generate 2 variants of images (if you have a free account) or 4 (if you have a plan).
This is where your prompt engineering skills come into play.
If you don’t like the result, click on the button RECRAFT.
You also can change the colors on your image.
If you click on it, you will see different options.
When you finish and want to download a picture, click on the Export button and select the SVG format (Top right).

To create your style, click on the My Styles button:
and then the Create brand style button.
Here you can choose a name of your style. Also don’t forget to add up to 5 hi-res images up to 16Mpx. Avoid multiple images on one image and use standalone images. After that, click on the Create the style button (bottom left).
Mastering visual tools like Recraft AI is a huge step forward, but the true power of modern technology lies in understanding the complex intelligence behind these systems. Insider Tip: to see your vector designs in their full glory before printing, a high-quality monitor is a must. If you are serious about color accuracy, using a 4K monitor for designers or even a graphics tablet with a screen will help you spot any imperfections in the vector paths that AI might miss. Professional gear makes the final "Export" button much less stressful!
