OMG! Are you still copying links manually?

Have you ever wondered how much time we spend switching between apps? Finding a YouTube video, downloading an image from the browser, or sending a song?

Many people use Telegram only for text messages and calls. At best, they send stickers or GIFs. But what if I told you that you could find any song, YouTube video, or create a meme without even closing the app?

You don’t need to be a programmer to do this. Just know the magic of inline bots (this is a helper bot that doesn’t need to be installed anywhere or added to a chat — you don’t need to install it separately for it to work). Here are 7 life hacks that will spice up your everyday life.

Your list of secret tricks

Music in one click

Forget about links to third-party services. Type @song and the name of the band or song in the message line. A list of tracks will appear that you can listen to and send to the chat instantly.

Here’s an example with my favorite song: @song Last Christmas Wham

Image Search

Yes, you can search for images in Telegram. Need to urgently send a photo of a cute corgi or a beautiful landscape?

Use this command: @pic

Example: @pic funny corgi

Telegram will display an image gallery right above the keyboard. Select the one you want and send! It’s that simple.

YouTube without opening the app

You don’t have to search for videos in the YouTube app; Messenger can do this too.
Use the command: @vid

This works even for beginner bloggers with a small number of subscribers. I even found my channel with a relatively small number of subscribers.

On-the-fly meme generator

With this feature, you can create your own memes. Use the @memingbot command, and you’ll see a ton of images of famous memes appear. Just add your caption and send it to a friend.

Example: @memingbot Someone doesn’t simply plug a flash drive into a laptop on the first try.

The Magic of GIFs

You can search for GIFs in another way. Enter @gif and any keyword. This is the fastest way to find the perfect animation to match your mood.

Example: @gif Jack Sparrow — oops, I’m sorry — @gif Captain Jack Sparrow

How to Win an Argument with Your Opponent

Your opponent is starting an argument, but they’re not buying your argument? Don’t worry, with this command, you’ll definitely back up your arguments. Just enter @wiki + language (e.g., eng) + query or @wiki + query.

The bot immediately returns an article you can send to your opponent. It’s much faster than going to the browser, copying the link, and then returning.

Example: @wiki ru Back to the Future

In case you’re bored

Just type @gamebot in any chat. Three games will open: Corsair, LumberJack, or Math Battle. One of them is really fun — chopping branches on a never-ending tree.

These are privacy-friendly inline bots. They only “see” what you type after their name and don’t read the rest of your chat conversations. This is an important detail for those who care about security.

By the way, you can stand out not only with cool features in chats, but also in real life. If you love the mischievous raccoon aesthetic as much as I do, check out my store for some inspiration and unique items. I promise, it’s just as interesting as Telegram’s hidden settings! And there’s all sorts of useful stuff there!🦝

There’s much more to Telegram than meets the eye. Which of these commands did you like the most?

Let’s share in the comments if you know any other cool inline commands — let’s create the most comprehensive list together! 👇
