Google Opinion Rewards Review: Is It Worth Your Time? An Honest Earnings Report

Everything you need to know about earning Google Play credits through surveys, location sharing, and receipt tasks

I recently learned about earning money on the Google platform. Have you ever wondered if those tiny surveys on your phone actually add up to anything substantial? All you need to do is take surveys (mostly). The platform's name, as you already found out from the title, is Google Opinion Rewards. Now I will tell you how you could increase your profit on this platform, what steps to take, and how much I earned in eight months.

Since Google is a well-known platform, I thought that surveys would be coming in constantly. Each survey is usually worth 0.08 euros (I don’t know why I see the reward in euros, I think I put it in dollars). However, the surveys are very small, usually a maximum of five questions.

How Can You Earn More

To earn more, you can do the following THREE steps:

  • Invite friends: they will complete surveys — you will receive some percentage of this;
  • Share your location: here I understand that depending on the location, surveys come more or less often since the company that paid for the survey is interested in a specific location in which it works;
  • You can upload receipts from purchases, for them there is an increased payment: 0.16 euros (I have received only ONE task to upload a receipt).

I did almost all these steps to get more surveys. It seems they have a problem with the app since I shared both locations and allowed them to join the receipts program.

How Can I Withdraw Money

The only way to spend it is to use it in the Google Play app to buy online books or to pay for paid apps. For me, it’s pretty useless because I use free apps and I buy paper books. Now I will share screenshots of my earnings on this platform.

How Much Have I Earned?

Now I’ll tell you the most interesting part. Was it worth my efforts or not to take surveys on this platform? And so, drum roll!…

Reward history screenshot part one

In total, I earned 0.96 euros in eight months:

  • €0.08 in the first month;
  • €0.08 in the second month;
  • €0.24 in the third month;
  • €0.16 in the fourth month;
  • €0.16 in the fifth month;
  • €0.24 in the sixth month;
  • €0.00 in the seventh month.

As you can see, I haven’t received surveys for a long time.

"In my opinion, they want to get too much personal data, connect geolocation, check your purchases, and send surveys too rarely, almost a year — earnings of one euro or one dollar — this is something ridiculous. In addition, I can not withdraw this money to my card."

My verdict — a useless application that takes up space on your smartphone.

Insider Tip: if you're disappointed by low-paying survey apps, consider switching to platforms that offer direct cash via PayPal rather than store credit. To keep your smartphone running smoothly while testing multiple earning apps, ensure you have enough storage and a healthy battery.
