You can post your stories on blogs or in books. I also found a site that collects all these unique stories to publish in their book! Sounds cool, doesn’t it?
I also have a few stories in stock that I’ve always wanted to share. In addition, this site promises to pay $250 for your story and give you 10 copies of the book. I knew about this book, and I read two of them myself. And I was surprised where they take these stories from. It turns out that you can post them online.
Everything is quite simple, you need to go to the site and choose a category for your story.
Write it and send it.
This site is called Chicken Soup for the Soul. Surely some of you have heard of this series of books. To begin, we click on the button — Submit Your Story.

The official submission page for new authors |
Here you will see answers to all your questions, what topics you can write about, and how many words there should be (I will save you time and say right away — no more than 1200 words). Don’t forget to read the Story Guidelines. It will help to avoid mistakes.

Once you have chosen a topic and read all the rules, it is time to fill out the application. This is a short form that no one will find difficult to fill out. The form consists of 4 steps.

If you see a window that says your — submission was successful, then your story has been sent for further review. If an error occurs, you need to resubmit the form again.
If you have several interesting stories in stock, you will have to fill out a form for each one separately. And be prepared to wait. If your story is suitable for publication, you will be notified by email, which you indicated when filling out the application. This will happen no earlier than in 2 months and may take longer. But the company does not send rejection letters, so if you have not received a letter for a very long time, then your story was not suitable for the book for some reason.
I haven’t received a confirmation email yet, if I do I’ll write an article about it. Good luck with publishing your stories.
While waiting for a response from traditional publishers requires patience and artistic skill, the digital world often offers much faster, albeit more controversial, ways to hunt for profit. While some people write life-changing stories, millions of others are busy clicking on their smartphone screens in hopes of a massive crypto airdrop. If you’re curious whether these viral "tap-to-earn" apps are a gold mine or just a massive waste of time, you should see my breakdown of the latest trend:
Insider Tip: to make your writing process more comfortable and professional, you should invest in a high-quality ergonomic keyboard. If you need a reliable mechanical keyboard or a quiet wireless one with fast shipping, you can find the best ergonomic keyboards and office accessories via Amazon Content Creator Store. A smooth typing experience is the best "Plan B" to ensure your creativity flows without strain!
While I wait for the publishers to pick up my next big story, I’m focused on creating things that are equally interesting and valuable for my community. Maybe you’ll find something useful for your own writing career or just something beautiful to decorate your writing space! 🦝
Do you have a personal story that you think is worth $250, or have you ever tried submitting your work to a major publisher?
