Paying Social Media Jobs Review: Why You Should Avoid This Scams

Don’t Waste Your Money! The Truth Behind Paying Social Media Jobs Platform

Protect your wallet and your time by uncovering the truth behind platforms that promise easy money but demand upfront payments for "membership"

Today, I want to give you my honest opinion of one website that offers easy money. I’m going to say how it works and why it doesn’t work.

My review of this website is based on my own experience. I want to explain why this resource is a waste not only of your time but also money. In the world of online side hustles, it's crucial to distinguish between real opportunities and clever marketing traps.

I’m looking for and checking the different websites, that promise to give passive income, to save you time, to work less and earn more, or to have a hustle job. Some of them give such cool promises, that many people believe in not. This topic is also interesting to me, but I never believe it till I try.

So today we consider one platform that promises to pay you, for doing different activities on your favorite social media, without any knowledge. Sounds pretty good, right? The name of this platform is Paying Social Media Jobs.

Let’s start. So the first page of the website, it’s identifying your IP address. This website wants to show you that exactly in your country there are a lot of tasks, and you’re able to earn as much as they promise. But if you use a VPN, you will see that their offer is the same for any country. They have already tried to fool you.

At the beginning is a little quiz, that you need to take. There are a couple of simple questions about your favorite social media, and they would like to offer you a job according to your skills.

When you finish that quiz, the website offers you to pay a membership of $27 or $97.

How it works?

This platform provides you with training on how to start making money through your social media platform by providing social media marketing services to customers. You will need to do the following things: replying to comments, creating social media marketing, etc. It sounds pretty simple, but...

If you don’t have any experience in social media marketing, you need to take a course on their platform. So you should pay again. During this time, the only one who earns money is the website. So the cost of the membership, it says it’s $97 or $27.

Upsells page showing hidden costs

So, you click the Buy Button and pay $27, you see their sales funnel, where they’re going to provide you with a load of different upsells. What we can see here:

  • The 1st upsell: a $97 express pass, or $67 for a 12-month express pass if you don’t buy the first one;
  • Upsell number 2: $57 for upgrade writing jobs and app reviews, or $37 for individual upgrades;
  • The funnel cost: it will cost you $100 or more to buy all of this stuff.

Still, they who are receiving money... Not you... These different upsells, are kind of for boosting your ability to make money through your social media platform. Or they are boosting their abilities to make money, and they don’t care about you?

But there already exist FREE platforms that you can use anywhere, for example, Fiverr and Upwork. You create your account, write what services you can provide, and start to choose a job. For free. And you can find a whole host of different social media marketing jobs.

Now, they recommend that you go for the intro course here. You can find that at the top. Here are 3 modules:

    • Winning your first social media job: basic introduction;
    • Giving yourself a promotion: self-marketing tips;
    • Pull down the big bucks: promises of high earnings.

    You have to do 4 lessons again, then you have a test. To pass this test is very easy.

    The 4 lessons interface

    Here is not a lot of useful information. This training doesn’t teach you how to do social media marketing at all. They are talking only about the money you can make, and how you can make it through your social media platforms. It doesn’t absolutely give you any useful training about how to do that.

    The generic congratulations block

    Here are no video tutorials, only written text. Nowadays, it’s more common to use video tutorials. I prefer to watch tutorials, not to read.

    When you go through this tutorial, you won’t receive the answers on what you’re supposed to do with social media marketing for these customers.

    When you finish that training, you will need to start to search through the job database to find some jobs and go and apply for those. Or you can access the advanced training.

    You also need to create a resume, because this is what people are looking to employ someone as their social media marketer.

    Let’s imagine that you don’t have any experience with social media marketing. No really if you don’t have any skills how do you plan to get any job? You won’t even understand how to do this job. You will think that you need to buy the courses because you think that it might help you. But they are very poor quality.

    In my opinion it’s a totally waste of time and money. The real job offer never takes money in advance. They are planning to earn on you but not help you to earn.

    Insider Tip: to protect yourself from online scams and keep your data secure, you need a high-quality digital setup. If you need a hardware security key or a privacy screen filter with fast shipping, you can find the best security gear via Amazon. Keeping your info safe is the best "Plan B" when exploring new ways to earn online!

    Anyway, while scammers are busy dreaming up new ways to empty your pockets, I’m focused on creating things that are actually honest and valuable. Maybe you’ll find something useful to help you build a real freelance career or just something beautiful to keep your spirits high while you search for the work you deserve? 🦝

    Have you ever encountered a platform that asked for money before letting you work, and what was the red flag that stopped you?
